4th SIPA Webinar materials on Responsible Business Conduct (RBC) and Sustainable Finance in the context of Sustainable Infrastructure

The 4th SIPA Regional Webinar, held on April 2, 2025, focused on how integrating Responsible Business Conduct (RBC) into infrastructure development can help attract higher-quality investments, strengthen sustainability outcomes, and minimize negative social and environmental impacts. The discussion emphasized the role of RBC in aligning business practices with long-term development goals in Central Asia and Mongolia.

Participants also explored current approaches to measuring corporate sustainability performance, including the use of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) indicators. In total, 72 participants took part, including experts, policymakers, and civil society representatives, who exchanged knowledge on advancing responsible investment and improving access to finance for infrastructure projects through stronger governance and transparency.
